About
Hello! I’m a PhD student in Computer Science at The George Washington University, working in the Intelligent Aerospace Systems Laboratory (IASL) under the supervision of Prof. Peng Wei. My research focuses on the development of applied artificial intelligence systems for decision-making under uncertainty in safety-critical domains.
My core interests include Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic AI, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), with an emphasis on robustness, safety, and explainability. The work integrates Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and control theory to address challenges such as partial observability, delayed information, and scalable evaluation in real-world applications.
Before my PhD, I completed a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tehran, where I had the privilege to collaborate with excellent researchers and mentors.
